Park Hall the Countryside Experience near Oswestry in Shropshire is one of the region’s most exciting all weather family visitor attractions. With regular hands-on animal activities, two massive indoor playbarns, lots of outdoor play and driving activities there is never a dull moment for the kids. At a more sedate pace there are museums, exhibitions and beautiful countryside.
Maisy’s Maize Maze is open
Maisy’s maize maze is open every day for you to wander around, you can find it by the adventure play park in the woodland. Take a tractor ride or walk to the woodland to start your trek, it takes about 20 mins …providing you don’t get lost! Maize Maze
Trenches through the Ages…
Opening in September we have a brand new exhibition of ‘Trenches through the Ages’ where you can journey through the wars to see the different types of trench warfare from WW1 to present day over ground trenches
Visitors will be able to have a tour through the network of trenches and visit the ‘HQ’ hidden in the depths of this elaborate labyrinth. Each set of trenches is accessible from the other and stretches over hundreds of metres.
From September school visits will be available for the Trenches Experience, the World War One exhibition, Welsh Guards and combined with farm activities for a full day out.

Lamb Feeding Fun…
Lamb feeding is on each day at 12.00pm and 4.15pm. It’s a really exciting time with lots of lambs to bottle feed and gorgeous little goats too!

World War One Exhibit now open
A fascinating new exhibition of World War One artefacts is now open.WW1 exhib (1)
A prestigious private collection owned by Matthew Lucas, Historic Advisor to the Western Front Organisation, has been generously made available to Stan Evans of the Welsh Guards Museum for the duration of the Centenary Commemorations
In the exhibition you will find uniforms, headgear, footgear, and weaponry used in the First World War from all the Allied nations; along with a partially reconstructed trench complete with its own ‘khazi!’ (latrine).The ‘trench’ structure has been donated by Blenheim Palace in recognition for help given to them by Stan for an exhibition now showing at Blenheim.Kids can look through a periscope into ‘No mans land’ where the horrors of war are depicted in a stunning mural created by ex Welsh Guardsman and artist Will Kevins. The mural has been specifically commissioned for the exhibition.
You can visit the exhibition during the normal opening hours of Park Hall and it is included in the entrance price. Yet another amazing addition to our diverse activities at the farm.
Mini Farm Fun ….
Another exciting addition to our award winning Farm Attraction can be found in the main arena. Our little visitors now have a brilliant soft play adventure area to explore. It features an animal roundabout, a mini slide, lots of crawl around shapes and a fascinating colour changing bubble machine
